NYC Central Park Skateboard Race !

This hybrid view of New York City's Central Park shows the starting and ending point — at Central Park West & Park Dr S — for the Annual Central Park Skateboard Race (route is highlighted in pink). Racers start with their boards pointing downtown and complete a counter-clockwise 6.2 mile loop around the entire park. An average time is 30 minutes with the first place finishers typically coming in at 23 minutes.

The official date and time for this year's Central Park race is Saturday, the 7th of June at 12:00 PM (Noon). The Maine Monument (the area near the junction of Columbus Circle & 59th Street) — will be the initial meeting place prior to the actual start of the race. The race has been started a few minutes early in the past. Be sure to arrive a little early so that you don't miss the start!

After race party — including live band(s) and mini-ramp madness — begins at 8:00PM and will be held at:
210 Cook Street, Brooklyn, NY, 11206
